Parole
Northern Parole Region
The Northern Region supervises youth on parole in the northern half of the state. Juvenile Parole Officers (JPOs) and other parole staff work with youth and their families to provide the guidance necessary for youth to become positive, contributing members of society. Beyond the important task of supervision, staff help youth on parole receive needed services including housing, public assistance, education and treatment for medical, mental health and substance abuse. Having access to these services reduces the likelihood of a youth committing a new offense.
Youth supervised by the Northern Region give back to the community through service projects that develop a variety of skills. In the past year, the Region has provided community service for the following groups and organizations:
- Catholic Charities
- Cleveland Food Bank
- Coats for Kids
- Compassion Baptist Church
- Furniture Bank
- Lee Memorial Church
- Salvation Army
